SANDRA FERRACUTI
Sandra Ferracuti (PhD) è Ricercatrice (RTDb) in Antropologia culturale nell’Università della Basilicata (DIUSS, Matera). Tra 2016 e 2020 è stata responsabile del dipartimento Afrika del Linden-Museum Stuttgart (Germania), per il quale ha ideato la mostra permanente Wo ist Afrika? Storytelling a European Collection (2019).
Ha fatto ricerca sul campo in Germania, Italia e Mozambico e ha progettato, coordinato e partecipato a progetti multinazionali di ricerca e interpretazione collaborative sulle eredità culturali tra Germania, Camerun, Namibia e Nigeria. Le sue ricerche si concentrano sugli “attriti contemporanei” attorno al concetto di cittadinanza e le pratiche “partecipative” nei sistemi dell’arte e dei patrimoni culturali.
Sandra Ferracuti (PhD) is a Researcher (RTDb) in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Basilicata (DIUSS, Matera). From 2016 to 2020, she was head of the Afrika department at the Linden-Museum Stuttgart (Germany), where she designed the permanent exhibition Wo ist Afrika? Storytelling a European Collection (2019). She has conducted field research in Germany, Italy, and Mozambique and has designed, coordinated, and participated in multinational research and collaborative interpretation projects concerning cultural heritage between Germany, Cameroon, Namibia, and Nigeria. Her research focuses on contemporary “frictions” around the concept of citizenship and “participatory” practices in the arts and cultural heritage systems.
